Dhabbe water falls near Jog falls in another feather in the cap in Shimoga. It is a ideal place for trekkers and nature lovers.
Dhabbe falls is around 105 kms from Shimoga. It is 5 km from Muppane nature camp near Kargal.
To reach the water falls, one has to drive towards Jog from Sagar. After Talguppa, drive towards Kargal. Around 5 kms from Kargal and a few miles after Muppane Nature camp stop near Hosagadde village. Take a right deviation here and proceed 2 kms towards Balanakodu village.
Take a right deviation near a small bridge. Vehicles cannot move from here. A small and narrow foot path inside the forest leads to a house in a farm. The steep way to the water fall starts here. The steep slope is around 500 feet until you reach the bottom of the water falls.
